Apple Powerbeats Pro is arriving in three more colors– ivory (off-white), moss (green), and navy. Currently, it is available only in black color option. The Powerbeats Pro will go online starting August 22 and shipping will start from August 30 across all Apple retail stores.
Beats says the new Powerbeats Pro is “23 percent smaller than its predecessor and 17 percent lighter.” The earbuds are water and sweat resistance, so you shouldn’t have any trouble with moisture while you’re at the gym or on a run. Like AirPods and Powerbeats3, the new Powerbeats Pro pair instantly with iPhones and pairing syncs to iCloud-connected devices including iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch without pairing on each device.
The new beats earbuds come with improved call quality. Beats used a speech-detecting accelerometer in each earbud and two beam-forming microphones per side target your voice and filter out external sounds such as wind and ambient noise.
The earbuds do feature the same Apple’s H1 chip as the latest AirPods. The also includes quick syncing and “Hey Siri” functionality. Unlike AirPods, the new earbuds don’t offer wireless charging. However, it does charge via an included Lightning cable, which is better than Micro-USB.
