Bang & Olufsen has announced a pair of truly wireless earbuds, Beoplay E8 Sport. It is designed for sports lovers and comes with features required by professional athletes.
The earbuds sport an anodized aluminum ring at the exterior side and a B&O logo. They come in a charging case made of rubber and Silicone. The rectangular-shaped charging case has ridges around the cases that help to grip it firmly. B&O launched the earbuds in two different colors–Black and Blue.
Beoplay E8 Sport features
Like other earbuds, it also comes with touch-control features. The touch-controls allows us to skip track, accept and reject calls, and turn on the transparency mode. Other features include Bluetooth 5.1, AAC, and aptX support. Unfortunately, earbuds won’t support the ANC (Active Noise Control) feature.
The earbuds are IP57-certified which makes them water and dust resistant. In fact, earbuds can withstand in the water for up to 30-minutes at a depth of 30 meters. B&O claims that the earbuds can offer up to 7-hours of playtime on a single charge. With the charging case, the playtime can be extended up to 35-hours. The charging case supports quick charge and wireless charging. The Quick Charge will give you around 90-minutes of playtime in a 20-minutes charge.
The earbuds will be available stating July 9 at $350.
