HMD Global has announced three new smartphones. Out of those three smartphones, two are budget-friendly smartphones while one (Nokia 8.3 5G) is a flagship. Nokia 8.3 is a first 5G smartphone from the company that supports both NSA and SA dual modes.
Nokia 8.3 5G specifications, price
The smartphone features a 6.81-inch Full HD+ PureDisplay with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The front of the phone features a punch-hole display for selfies camera. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB storage.
In terms of optics, the phone features a quad-rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The cameras can shoot videos in 21:9 format, and record 60fps at 4K videos resolution. For selfies, the phone comes with a 24-megapixel punch-hole camera sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone runs on Android 10 out-of-box but is upgradable to Android 11. The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery. Connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB 2.0 Type-C connector.
The Nokia 8.3 5G is priced at EUR 599 (~Rs 48,300) for the 6GB/64GB variant and EUR 649 (roughly Rs 52,300) for the 8GB/128GB variant.

Nokia 5.3 features a 6.55-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM options and 64GB/128GB storage. The storage is further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, the phone features a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with 118-degrees Field-Of-View, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone comes with an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video blogging.
The phone runs on Android 10 and packs a 4.00mAh battery. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Nokia 1.3 sports a 5.71-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB of storage. The storage is further expandable up to 400GB via a microSD card slot.
For photography and videos, the phone comes with a single rear camera of 8-megapixel. On the front, the phone comes with a 5-megapixel sensor. The phone packs a small 3,000mah battery and runs Android 10 (Go edition) out of the box. The company promised that the phone is upgradable to Android 11 (Go edition).
