Honor Play 8 has been launched in China. It is a budget smartphone like any other Play 8-series phones. The key highlight of the phone includes a MediaTek A22 SoC processor, a 5.71-inch HD+ screen, and a 3,020mAh battery and much more.

The Honor Play 8 costs at CNY 599 (roughly Rs. 6,000) and is available on major retails as well as e-retail channels in China. The phone is made to be available in two colors – Aurora Blue and Midnight Black.

Honor 8 Play sports a 5.71-inch HD+ IPS screen with a pixel resolution of 720×1520 pixels and 294ppi. It is driven by quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM and IMG GE8300 GPU. The device comes with 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Honor Play 8 features a single rear camera with a 13MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and an LED flash module. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top.
It is backed by a 3,020mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS and a micro USB support.
