Huawei has launched a new MateBook laptop. The new MateBook E 2019 is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop running Windows 10. It is the successor to the MateBook E from 2017.

The price of the base model (4GB RAM/128GB Storage) of new MateBook E in China starting at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 41,000). Whereas model with (4GB RAM/512GB Storage) is available at CNY 4,999. (roughly Rs. 51,000). The notebook comes in Titanium Ash and Charm Blue Sea color options. The Matebook is now up for pre-order in China.
Huawei MateBook E 2019 Specifications
The Huawei Matebook E 2019 features a 12-inch display with a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels. The display comes with TUV Rheinland Low Blu-ray certification, which ensures that the user’s eyes are protected from blue rays emitted by the display.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 coupled with 4GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage options. For graphics processing, it comes with an Adreno 630 iGPU, which offers 737 GFLOPS of computing performance.
In terms of optics, the new MateBook offers a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. The device also has support for a M Pen Lite Stylus – with 2,048 pressure level sensitivity.
The device runs Windows 10 Home edition. It comes with the Huawei Share 3.0 One Touch feature which makes it possible to establish a seamless connection with a smartphone for file transfers by simply placing it on the keyboard.
The Matebook packs with a 36.3W battery, which can operate for 10 hours without charging, as per company claims. There is support for fast charging as well, which allows the battery to go from 0-88 percent in just around 90 minutes.
Connectivity option includes 4G LTE with 4×4 MIMI antenna technology for a strong connection, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band WiFi. There’s also a built-in eSIM and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
