Motorola announced its first foldable phone Motorola Razr (2019) in November last year. The phone was originally supposed to launched December but Motorola postponed the launch due to the demand-supply issue. Now it seems that the phone is ready to launch commercially.

The General Manager of Lenovo’s mobile division in China has shared an image of the retail box of the new Razr on Chinese social site Weibo. The retail box features a manufacturing date as of January 9, 2020, and carries a ‘Made in India’ tag. The box has a triangular prism-like design and with all sides colored in black.

The phone will also launch in the Indian market, but price and availability details are not available at the moment. Motorola India has set up a registration page on its website where the interested consumers can sign up to get updates.

To recall, Motorola Razr (2019) is a dual-display. The primary display comes with a 6.2-inch flexible OLED HD+ (876×2142 pixels) screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It can be folded completely in half. There is also a secondary display of 2.7-inch with the resolution (600×800 pixels). The secondary display is used to check quick notifications, control music, receive calls, respond to messages or take selfies. The Moto Razr also includes a fingerprint sensor on the bottom.

In the folded state, the consumers can access the secondary 2.7-inch (600×800 pixels) ‘Quick View display’ that can be used to take selfies, view notifications, control music playback, and a lot more.

Razr (2019) has packed a 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture on the Quick View Display. In the folded state it will be used to take selfies. Once the user unfolds the phone, the 16-megapixel turned into a rear camera. The phone also includes a 5-megapixel camera in the primary display. It can be used to take selfies when the phone is in an unfolded state.

The phone is driven by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone runs stock Android 9 Pie and packs a 2510mAh battery paired with 15W quick charging support.
