Taiwanese chipset maker Mediatek announced two new gaming-focused processors under its G-series. Mediatek Helio G35 and Helio G25 both use MediaTek’s HyperEngine game technology to enhance performance during gaming sessions.

Mediatek Helio G35

The chipset is designed using TSMC’s 12nm process and features an eight ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs that can be clocked up to 2.3Ghz. For GPU, it equipped with IMG PowerVR GE8320 clocked at 680MHz.

The Mediatek Helio can support camera configuration up to 25-megapixel. Both front and rear cameras are equipped with AI features including electronic image stabilization (EIS), rolling shutter compensation (RCS), beauty mode, and more. It supports FHD video recording at 30 FPS (Frame per Seconds).

It supports Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass FM radio, and more.

Mediatek Helio G25

The chipset is designed using TSMC’s 12nm process and features an eight ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs that can clock up to 2.0Ghz. For GPU, it equipped with IMG PowerVR GE8320 clocked at 650MHz.

The Mediatek Helio can support camera configuration up to 21-megapixel. It is equipped with AI features including electronic image stabilization (EIS), rolling shutter compensation (RCS), and more. The chipset supports HD video recording at 30 FPS (Frame per Seconds).

It supports HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass FM radio, and more. The chip supports eMMC 5.1 storage.
