Chinese smartphone maker Meizu is all set with a launch event scheduled for December 5 in New Delhi. It is expected that along with some flagship phones the company is also expected to launch a budget smartphone named Meizu C9.
The phone will sport a 5.45-inch HD+ display backed with 18:9 aspect ratio, and 295ppi pixel density. It is expected to be powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and would be paired with 2 GB RAM.
In terms of optics, the phone will come with a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the front would be the 8 MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and Face Unlock. The phone will come with Bluetooth v4.1, 4G VoLTE, GPS and more for connectivity options.
It is expected to run on Android Oreo 8.o OS. The Meizu C9 doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner, but, it does come with Face Unlock that lets you unlock the smartphone with your face. – and ships with a 3000 mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone gets Dual SIM slots with 4G support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. It also has a bunch of sensors which include the gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, and a range sensor.
The smartphone is offered in two colors – Gold and Black. It will be exclusively available on Amazon.in and will go on sale from December 5. The Meizu C9 is already available in Indonesia and costs Rp. 999,000 (around Rs 4,900).
