Some companies including Samsung and Huawei already launched their foldable smartphone. Some are working on foldable phones and expected to be unveiled at the coming days. Now Oppo also has joined the league of companies of foldable smartphones. The company has filed a patent in February.
Oppo put out the teaser on Twitter showing the expected design and display. The designs are still not finalized as it is working on several prototypes.
The patent suggests that the phone will feature the pop-up selfie camera. It will be operated in both foldable as well as unfolded way, and depending on the form factor, it can be either used as a front or the rear camera setup. Unlike Samsung Galaxy fold, the Oppo handset’s screen folds outwards, same as the Huawei Mate X. The phone will feature also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom of the screen.

These all are just patents. So there might be chances that Oppo won’t use the design for a foldable smartphone.
