Samsung Galaxy A70s new update brings Link to Windows, Bixby Side Key Functions and more

Samsung Galaxy A70s was launched in September in India. Now the phone starts receiving a new October security update. The update is of around 313MB in size and is available via OTA (Over the Air).

The new update brings some new features. It comes with a ‘Link to Windows’ feature. The new update provides users a quick toggle to the notification shade. It allows users to quickly connect their phones to the Windows PC via the Microsoft Your Phone Companion app. It also lets them mirror their phone’s screen on the PC. Another addition is the support of USB-Type C port.

The update also brings the ability to customize the power key. Users can customize the power key to launch Samsung’s own Bixby assistant while they can access the power key from the notification shade. In addition to that update brings some performance improvements, bug fixes.

To recall, Samsung Galaxy A70s features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is driven by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The internal storage is further expanded up to 512GB via the MicroSD card slot. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
