Samsung has launched a new Android Go smartphone called Galaxy J2 Core (2020). It is an upgrade over the Galaxy J2 Core launched in 2018.

The phone is priced at Rs. 6299 (around $82) and is available in Blue, Black, and Gold color options.

The phone features a 5-inch PLS LCD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. Under the hood is an Exynos 7570 quad-core processor, paired with 1 GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The storage is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
In terms of optics, the smartphone houses a single 8-megapixel camera at the rear and a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies. The rear sensor can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
It houses a 2,600mAh battery and runs the Android 8.0 Oreo Go edition. It is a dual-sim support smartphone and also features a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The display retains the 16:9 aspect ratio and has large bezels at the top and bottom edges. We expect the display to retain the Gorilla Glass protection on the 2018 model.
