Samsung today announced a brand new Galaxy Tab. The new Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) now comes with support for the S-Pen. It’s not the newer S Pen that you get with the Galaxy Note 9, instead it will use the S-pen from the previous generation might be Galaxy Note 8.
The new “Galaxy Tab 8 A with S Pen 8.0” (SM-P205) sports an 8-inch 1920×1200 LCD screen. It comes with an Exynos 7904 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage with microSD card support. The storage is expandable with microSD cards up to 512GB. The gadget features an 8 megapixels sensor located on the back without an LED flash and another 5 megapixels on the front.
For connectivity, the tablet has 4G mobile connectivity in addition to WiFi 5 with WiFi Direct. It also has Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB type C and 3.5 mm jack for headphones, plus an NFC chip whose availability will depend on the market. The tab packs a battery of 4,200mAh. It is expected to be available in 2 color options.
The device is most likely be run on Android Pie with Samsung’s One UI on top. Pricing has not yet been announced.
