Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S9+ in a dual-tone Polaris Blue finish that had earlier launched in some international markets. The new phone models will be available for pre-orders online, including the Samsung Online Store, from December 7. These flagships will also be offered offline from December 10.
The device sports a 6.2-inch quad HD+ Super AMOLED Curved display. It is powered by an Exynos 9810 SoC processor. Paired with 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage (expandable up to 512GB), the S9+ runs on Samsung Experience 9.0 based on Android Oreo.
The S9+ offers a 12MP + 12 MP dual rear camera with variable aperture while an 8MP camera deals with selfies. The S9+ is powered by a 3500mAh battery with support for Adaptive Fast Charging. The phone is powered by Samsung’s new OneUI based on Android 9 Pie.
The new Polaris Blue finish of the Galaxy S9+ also became available in Samsung’s home country late last month and it will be the sixth color option for the Samsung smartphone in India. The phone is already available in Blue, Black, Purple, Red, and Sunrise Gold colors.
The Polaris Blue Galaxy S9+ will be only available in the 64GB variant and retail for Rs 64,900. Those who own HDFC Bank Credit and Debit cards will also be eligible for cashback worth Rs 6,000.
