Asus has launched the successor of Rog Phone 2 in the form of Asus Rog Phone 3. The Rog series is a gaming smartphone series that comes with very high-end specifications.

The phone features a 6.59 OLED FHD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate. Although the phone offers a 144Hz refresh rate you can switch to 120Hz and 90Hz. Other features include a 270Hz sampling rate, 1ms of response time, and HDR10+. It is powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, and Adreno 650 GPU.
In order to cool down the temperature during gaming, the phone includes a 3rd generation GameCool system, which now has 6X larger heatsink, and a larger graphite film. The Copper 3D vapor chamber has also been redesigned.
The phone’s touch-sensitive ultrasonic now supports both sliding and swiping. In addition, you can split each button into two for additional controls. To offer the best sound quality during gaming, Asus partnered with Dirac. The speakers now have 7 magnets to reduce cross-talk, improve the impulse response and the frequency response curve.
In terms of camera, the phone includes a triple-rear camera setup comprises of a 64-megapixel primary camera a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with 125-degrees Field-0f-View (FoV) and a 5-megapixel camera. For selfies, it equips with a 24-megapixel camera. The camera can shoot 8K videos at 30fps.
The phone is expected to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support and runs on Android 10 with ROG UI on top. Connectivity option on the phone includes 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, USB Type-C, and more.
