Google has unveiled a new low-end smartphone, Pixel 4a. It is a trimmed-down variant of Google’s flagship smartphone Google Pixel 4 which was announced last year. One of the key features of the smartphone, that it includes the Titan M security key. The security key is used as a 2FA (Two Factor Authentication).

The phone packs a 5.81-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Google Pixel 4a includes a single camera as front and back of the phone. The rear camera features are of a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/1.7 lens while the front camera is of an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens.
The phone packs a 3,140mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and runs Android 10. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C support, HDR10+, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity option includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, USB Type-C and more.
The smartphone has been launched at $349 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variants. The phone will be available for sale in the US starting August 20 via Google store, Amazon, BestBuy and more.
In India, phone will be made available in the month of October.
