Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has been announced in the US. It is a 5G version of the standard Galaxy Z Flip. The 5G variant of the phone supports 5G Non-Standalone(NSA), 5G Standalone(SA) network, and Sub6 bands. Most of the features, except the processor, are the same as the standard Galaxy Z Flip. The 5G variant of the phone uses a newer and much powerful Snapdragon 865+ chipset with a 5G modem.

The phone features a dual-displays. The primary foldable display is a 6.7-inch full-HD AMOLED panel with a pixel resolution of 1080×2636 pixels and a 21.9:9 aspect ratio. The secondary display is of 1.1-inch Super AMOLED with a 112×300 pixel resolution.
The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 865+ chipset with a 5G modem paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. However, Samsung didn’t mention which processor they are using on the phone.
In terms of camera, the phone features a dual-rear camera setup. The setup includes a main 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 78-degree Field-of-view and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with aperture f/2.2 and 123-degree Field-of-view. For selfies, the phone comes with a 10-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 80-degree Field-of-View.
The phone packs a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support. The phone features a ‘Flex Mode’ that allows users to run two different apps at two halves of the display.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be available for $1,450 (~Rs. 1,08,200) in Mystic Bronze and Mystic Grey starting August 7.
