Sony has launched a new camera- Sony ZV1 which is designed especially for video bloggers and content creators. The ZV1 inherits the design from the Sony RX100. But it is a bit lighter and comes with a flappy screen.
In terms of hardware specifications, ZV1 features a 20.1-megapixel RS CMOS image sensor with the latest-generation BIONZ X image processor. It can shoot 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 120fps, and ‘Super Slow Motion’ at 960fps. It supports both HLG and HDR and offers optical as well as electronic stabilization.
The camera-equipped with tons of features that bloggers can utilize while recording the video. They can blur the background with ‘Background Defocus’ mode while shooting in portrait mode. The Face-priority feature automatically tracks and enhances the subject’s face based on ambient lighting conditions. Real-time tracking locks the subject while tracking other objects in the frame.
The camera features an LCD touchscreen that can be flipped out and rotate. The users can see in real-time how their shots being recorded. It also equips with thee capsule microphone to offer solid sound quality. The camera ships with a detachable windscreen for outdoor shooting.
The Sony ZV-1 is available in two variants. You can get only a camera for $800 (~Rs. 60,000) or you can get a camera along with a ‘Video Creator Kit‘ for $900 (~Rs. 67,000).
