Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 got a blood pressure monitoring app. The app is currently available in South Korea. Samsung rolled out the app after South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety had given clearance for Samsung’s blood monitoring app.
How the Watch Active 2 blood pressure monitoring app will work
Before measuring the blood samples you have to first calibrate the watch with a traditional blood pressure cuff. Then only you can measure the blood pressure with the watch. Calibration will have to repeat once every four weeks to get the flawless results. Results can be sync with your Samsung’s Health monitor app on your phone and then you can share it with your personal doctor.
Samsung said it will also activate the ECG feature in the coming months. The Watch Active 2 was announced last year in August. It comes with 40mm in diameter.
