Xiaomi Redmi 7A has been launched in India. The phone was launched in China last month. It is the successor of Redmi 6A launched last year. It comes with Snapdragon 439 SoC and packs a 4,000mAh battery.

2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant: Rs. 5,999
The phone will be available at above price till the whole of July as Mi turns five years. Post-July, the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant would be available for ₹5,999 and the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant would be available for ₹6,199.
It will be available starting 12 pm on 11 July via Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores, and all other offline stores.
Redmi 7A specifications
Redmi 7A features a 5.45-inch IPS LCD HD display with (1440×720 pixels) resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor couple with 2GB/3GB RAM variants with 16GB/32GB internal storage options. The internal storage can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
In terms of image and optics, the Redmi 7A sports a 13MP AI based camera on the back panel and 5MP camera sensor on the front. The front camera supports several AI based features like AI Beauty camera, AI Background Blur and supports AI Face Unlock.
It comes with a 4,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
The phone lacks fingerprint sensor but support face unlock feature to unlock the phone. It has very thick bezels at the top and bottom of the screen and lacks notch. The phone comes with P2i nano-coating that makes the phone water splash proof.
