Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro to get Fortnite support

Fortnite is one of the most popular game as of now. Its monthly active user count in 30 million. The company is now planning to bring the Fortnite support to its flagship phone Redmi Note 7 Pro. Xiaomi has now asked its fans if they would like support for Fortnite to be added to the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain, “Do u want Fortnite? If yes, we’ll work w/ @Qualcomm to get it certified.”

In the successive tweet Jain compare the popularity of PUBG and Fortnite of Indian Users. He said theer is no dowbt that PUBG is more popular than Fortnite but there is a certain group in India who loves the game. Jain said if users want Fortnite support, Xiaomi will speak to Qualcomm to get certified.

Jain also revealed that Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 is a new chip and isn’t available in the USA yet. Consequently, the processor hasn’t yet been whitelisted with the support for Fortnite.

Xiomi Redmi Note 7 Pro was launched in the first week of April this year. It sports a 6.3-inch waterdrop notch design display with 2340 ×1080 pixels resolutions. The back and front panels are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device comes with a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 4GB/6GB RAM options. It is available with external storage of 64GB and 128GB options that can be further expanded using microSD card.
