Google Pay India now supports FASTag accounts. Google’s new Unified Payment Interface (UPI) will let users link their FASTag accounts to Google Pay and recharge and track their payments.
FASTag is a rollable tag that lets users pass through a toll gate without waiting for cash transactions. It is operated by the National Highway Authority of India. It uses Radio Frequency Identification Technology (RFID) for making cashless payments when vehicles pass through the toll plazas across highways in the country.

How to link FASTag account with Google Pay

Launch the Google Pay app
Navigate to the ‘Bill Payment’ section and select FASTag category
Select the bank that has issued your FASTag
Enter your vehicle registration number
Tap on pay option with your linked bank account

Google Pay app will offer all details, FASTag transaction history, recharge amount, and other support links.
