How to access internet on your desktop/laptop via mobile device

Sometimes you are at places where wi-fi or broadband internet is not possible but you need to send an urgent mail. Then, in that case, you can use your mobile phone’s internet to access the internet on your desktop/laptop. There are three ways by which you can access your phone’s internet on your desktop/laptop.

Via Bluetooth connection:

The first step is to enable the internet on your Android/iOS device
Switch on your Bluetooth on both mobile and laptop/computer
Pair both the devices
Once paired, open your phone’s Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & Tethering and tap Bluetooth tethering.
In iPhone enable the Hotspot option and choose Bluetooth and wi-fi.
On the PC just right click on the paired device and choose Connect using Access Point
Your phone should display a notification that Bluetooth tethering is active

Via Wi-Fi connection:

The first step is to enable the internet on your Android/iOS device
In iPhone enable the Hotspot option and choose Bluetooth and wi-fi.
Switch on your Wi-Fi connection laptop/computer
Click on show available networks and select your connected device on a laptop and enter a password. Once it verified the password, you can access the internet
Your phone should display a notification that Wi-Fi tethering is active

Via USB cable:

Connect your mobile phone to computer/laptop via USB cable
On Android device, open Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering. Tap the USB tethering option. On iOS, enable the Hotspot via USB. On the iPhone, you need to manually give the approval to trust the device
A notification icon will appear that will show that the phone is tethered to your computer
