Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi announces a new smart display in China. The smart display is an 8-inch touch-screen display. At the top, is a touch-screen and at the bottom, is a speaker.
The 8-inch display comes with an HD resolution and a 178-degree viewing angle. It can stream content from platforms including Youku, Mango TV, Tencent Video, and iQiyi. You can also make video calls from smart displays. The smart display supports Xiao AI assistant that can be used to control the smart display. Users can also connect various IoT devices like doorbell, smart camera to the smart display.
Redmi’s first touch-screen smart display is priced at CNY 349 (~Rs. 3,500). It will go on sale starting March 27 via Mi.com and Youpin.
