Instagram’s new feature let you browse feed with your friend over video call

To encourage users for social-distancing amid Coronavirus, Instagram launched a new feature that lets you browse feed with your friends over a video call. Users can share, save, like or comment on any recommended posts in the feed with your friend.

How to use the feature

Launch the Instagram app and head over to the Instagram Direct Message tab
Tab on the video call icon and tap the photo icon in the bottom left of the video chat screen
It allows you to browse feed together with your friends

In addition, Instagram announces some more responses amid COVID-19

*Added more stickers to promote accurate information on COVID-9
*Your feed only show information on COVID-19 from credible health organisation
*Removed unofficial COVID-19 accounts from recommendations
*Expanded the donation stickers to more countries so that people can donate to non-profit organizations
*Launch ‘Stay Home’ sticker to promote social-distancing
