LinkedIn adds LinkedIn Live feature to host virtual events

Microsoft’s professional social-network LinkedIn is expanding its Events Option feature, which was announced last year. The company is integrating the LinkedIn Live feature to the Events Option so that organizations can host virtual events and connect with their team members.

With new integration now you can limit the broadcast of your LinkedIn Live Video to the people who choose to attend. Organizers and attendees also post the comments and additional details at a dedicated separate page. Once the event gets over, all the interactions along with video saved under a video tab of your company’s page. This way you will use it for future reference.

LinkedIn says LinkedIn Live generates 23x more comments and 6x more reactions per post than native video. “By combining Events and Live, LinkedIn hopes to equip brands with a powerful product suite to host virtual events,” the company said in a statement.
