OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is likely to launch on April 15. Ahead of the official launch, the smartphone has been spotted on the TENAA website. The TENAA listing suggests that both smartphones will support 5G connectivity. Earlier, OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau, also confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 8-series will support both 4G and 5G networks. Lau also revealed the $30 million investment in 5G Research and Development.
The past leaks suggest, OnePlus 8 Pro will come with a 6.65-inch Fluid AMOLED display and a 120Hz display refresh rate. The front display will feature a punch-hole cutout, for a selfie camera. The phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Along with two flagship phones, OnePlus will also launch OnePlus 8 Lite. It will be trimmed down variant and compete with the mid-segment smartphones by Samsung, Xiaomi, and Oppo. The Lite variant will feature with a dual-camera setup followed be an Led flash, aligned vertically. At the bottom, we will get USB Type-C port but unfortunately, the smartphone is missing 3.5mm headphone jack.
