Samsung launches Galaxy Tab A (2020); price, specifications


Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab A (2020). The tablet is an upgrade to the 2019 model of the same name.

The Galaxy Tab A (2020) launched in just one variant. The tablet with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at $279.99 (~Rs. 21,200) and will be available in a Mocha color. The tablet is currently available in the US and users can purchase it from Samsung US site. The shipping will start on March 27.

Galaxy Tab A (2020) comes with an 8.4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1200*1920 pixels. It is powered by an Exynos 7904 paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The internal storage is further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot. However, it does lacks a fingerprint scanner and NFC support.

In terms of imaging, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a standard 8MP autofocus primary camera and a basic 5MP selfie shooter. It runs Android 10 out of the box and packs a 5000mAh battery. Connectivity option includes Wi-Fi with dual-band support, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
