Apple has acquired California based on a small startup called Tueo Health. It provides a digital health solution that helps to monitor asthma symptoms in sleeping children.
The terms and deals of the acquisition still not disclosed. But Tueo’s CEO and COO, Brownwyn Harris and Anura Patil changed their employers from Tueo to Apple in late 2018, which is perhaps when the acquisition was completed.
Tueo Health is a small startup with fewer than a dozen employees since being founded four years ago, according to LinkedIn.
According to CNBC, “Tueo Health was developing a mobile app that worked with commercial breathing sensors to help manage asthma symptoms in children. The app would send alerts to parents if their child’s breathing changed at night.”
