Apple starts exporting “Made in India” iPhones to European markets. The model includes iPhone 6S and iPhone 7.
The iPhones are first being built in Wistron’s facility in Bangalore, and about 100,000 units per month are being exported. Apple first began this process a few months ago, in a move that should further cement India as one of the company’s assembly and manufacturing hubs outside of China.
As we recall, iPhone 7 was launched in 2017. The device features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and it comes with IP67 dust and water resistant coating. The smartphone comes with Apple’s A10 chip and 12 MP and 7 MP camera at the back and front respectively. The phone is available in 2 variants. The 32GB iPhone 7 costs Rs 39,900 while the 128GB variant is shipped for Rs 49,900.
