Apple claimed that new MacBook Air has two times faster CPU performance and up to 80 percent faster graphics performance than its predecessor model. The new MacBook Air sports a 13.3-inch (2560×1600 pixels) Retina display which now comes with True Tone technology that automatically adjusts the color temperature of the display for a more comfortable viewing experience.

It is powered by the new powerful 10th-generation Intel Core processors up to 1.2GHz quad-core Core i7 with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.8GHz. The MacBook Air will be available with 256GB storage. However, the company says it will launch one more variant with 2TB SSD storage.

One of the biggest changes in the new MacBook is that it features a new “Magic Keyboard” instead of the old “Butterfly keyboard.” Apple says “A redesigned scissor mechanism delivers 1mm of key travel for a comfortable and stable key feel, while the new inverted-“T” arrangement for the arrow keys makes them easier to find without looking down.”

To protect your MacBook Air and its data, it comes with Apple’s own designed T2 Security Chip. It checks whether the software has not been tempered and provides on-the-fly data encryption during the boot process. T2 also encrypts Touch ID information and other information related to online purchases.

It also includes a built-in FaceTime HD camera, which is perfect for Group FaceTime calls with friends and family, as well as a three microphone array for better sound quality when making calls and improved voice recognition for Siri. With Thunderbolt 3 ports you can charge and transfer data. It also supports up to a 6K external display.

The Macbook packs a 49.9-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery that can run up to 11-hours in a single charge.
