Apple new breakthrough product AR glass could launch in the second half of the year 2020. TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple might start working on the AR glasses in coming months and release it in 2020. Earlier it was rumored that Apple’s AR headset might be a standalone device but now it looks like AR glasses come as an accessory to the iPhone. The AR glasses are said to work mainly as a display and all other processing handled by an iPhone connected over a wireless connection.

Kuo says that the glasses won’t have their own graphics processor or CPU. Apple’s AR glasses will only carry a display, camera sensors, and wireless connectivity electronics, making them lighter and less battery hungry than Hololens 2 and other headsets. Also, it will make them less expensive than the competition.

Recently Microsoft launched their AR product Hololens 2 and search giant Google is also working on Google Glass 2.
