There is no secret that Huawei is working on its own operating system. Now Huawei CEO gives some glimpses on how the new OS will look and feel like.
In a recent interview with a French weekly magazine, Huawei CEO Ren Zhengfei confirmed that Huawei’s new Hongmeng OS is faster than Android and macOS.
Zhengfei also revealed that OS is designed to be more versatile. It can be used in a wide variety of applications including smartphones, routers, network switches, tablets, computers and data centers.
Zhengfei also said that its new OS would be faster than macOS by offering a processing delay of “less than 5 milliseconds.” Earlier, it was reported after Huawei’s new Hongmeng OS is likely to be 60 percent faster than Google’s Android. He added that Hongmeng OS would be “perfectly adapted to the Internet of Things and can also be applied to autonomous driving. We built this system in order to be able to connect all objects simultaneously.”
