Samsung has announced the new Galaxy Note flagship series. It has launched two new smartphones including a Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. There is also one more variant with 5G version of Galaxy Note 10+.

The Note 10 is priced at $949 for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The Note 10 Plus starts at $1,099 with 12GB RAM / 256GB storage while 12Gb RAM + 512GB storage will cost $1,199. Both smartphones are up for pre-order today and will ship on August 23rd.

Galaxy Note 10+ with 5G variant to cost 1,299.99 for the 12G RAM + 256GB storage version, and $1,399.99 for the 12Gb RAM + 512GB storage version.

Galaxy Note 10 specifications

The phone sports a 6.3-inch display with the resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The phone is driven on Snapdragon 855 paired with 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Unlike the previous models, Note 10 storage can not be expanded via microSD card. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

In terms of camera, the Galaxy Note 10 features a rear triple camera setup with a 12-megapixel f/2.1 telephoto primary sensor, a 12-megapixel sensor with a variable aperture (f/1.4-f/2.4) and a 16-megapixel f/2.2 sensor.

Additionally, Galaxy Note 10+ packs one more sensor at the back, next to the flash. Samsung is calling this VGA sensor the “DepthVision” camera, and it will let you take 3D scans of objects.

On the front, both the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 sports a 10MP f/2.2 camera with aperture f/2.2.

The phone packs a 3,500mAh battery and runs Android 9.0 out of the box.

Galaxy Note 10+ specifications

The phone sports a 6.8-inch display with the resolution of 3040 x 1440 pixels. The phone is driven on Snapdragon 855 paired with 12GB RAM. In terms of internal stoarge, the phone will be available with 256 GB storage ad 512 GB storage. The internal storage can be further expanded via microSD cards. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The phone packs a 4,300mAh battery and runs Android 9.0 out of the box. The phone misses out the 3.5mm headphone jack as a company has to create extra space for a battery.

Both Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ comes with support for up to 45W fast charging, though both models ship with a 25W charger in the box.

Samsung DeX is a desktop driven interface which gives you the big screen experience with your phone. Samsung Note 10 users can now connect their phone to Windows and Mac PCs using the Type-C cable.

Samsung has also built-in support for Microsoft’s “Your Phone” feature from Windows 10, letting you toggle it right from the quick settings. There’s a new version of its game optimization software that supposedly uses AI to optimize your phone’s settings to the game you’re playing.
