WhatsApp has rolled out a beta update for its iOS app. The beta update brings two new features–Facebook Pay and Blocked Contact Notice. The Blocked Contact Notice was also spotted on Android, a few days back. The latest iPhone beta comes with version number 2.19.120.21, and users must check-in TestFlight for the new update. However please be careful while installing the beta on the phone, since it may contain bugs and issues.

Blocked Contact notice

Once you enabled the feature, every time you blocked a contact, WhatsApp will add a new bubble in the chat window. The bubble reads “You blocked this contact. Tap to unblock.” A similar bubble will appear when any user unblocks any contact. On unblock, the bubble will read, “You have unblocked this contact.”

Facebook Pay

Facebook Pay is recently launched on the Messenger app. Soon it will be expanded to other apps including Instagram, WhatsApp, and other popular apps. It allows users to do payments across Facebook’s popular apps. Users will use Facebook’s Payment feature to shop, donate to causes and send money to friends and family members.
